Product descriptions

 

mooch gifts & home attempts to be as accurate as possible with our product descriptions but on occasion we do make errors  that contain typographical errors, inaccuracies or omissions that may relate to product descriptions, pricing and availability.

 

We reserve the right to correct any errors inaccuracies or omissions and to change or update information at any time without prior notice (including after you may have submitted your order). If this is the case you will be contacted with a full explanation and a corrected offer. The information displayed is considered as an invitation to purchase not as a confirmed offer for sale. The contract is confirmed upon supply of goods.

Greetings Cards - on occasion we may sell out of a particular card design, we reserve the right to substitute your chosen card for a similar design, should one not be available we will refund you.

 

Photography

 

Every effort has been made to represent our products accurately. Please note some variations in colour or shape may occur due to your operating systems but we do our best to show the exact product wherever possible.  We cannot accept responsibility for these variations in the appearance or colour. All sizes are approximate provided by our suppliers.

 

Pricing

 

Prices and availability of items are subject to change without notice.  The prices may vary to our stores. All prices are in GBP. We accept major credit and debit cards through our secure payment server and Paypal. No credit card details are stored on our database.

 

Returns, cancellation policy & unavailable items

 

Under the Distance Selling Regulations (DSR) you have 7 days from the receipt of ordered goods to cancel the order.  If you wish to do so, you must return the goods in their original condition at your own expense to mooch gifts & home, 56 Load Street, Bewdley, Worcestershire DY12 2AP. Please enclose details of your order with the goods, together with your reason for returning.  Please ensure that the goods are properly packaged in their original packaging: you have a statutory duty under the DSR to take reasonable care of the goods, and we may refuse a refund if you fail to do so.

mooch gifts & home is not responsible for customer returns that are not received.  Please note proof of postage is not proof of delivery, and we recommend returning high-value items using a registered post service. A refund of the amount paid for the goods less the p&p will be made to your credit/debit card less a £2.50 admin fee to cover our processing fees following receipt of the returned goods. Please note that we will not refund the cost of returning goods unless those goods are faulty. We aim to process refunds within 5 working days. 

For orders cancelled prior to dispatch we will charge a £2.50 admin fee to cover our costs incurred this will be deducted prior to any refund being raised.  This fee will also be charged for returned items from Royal Mail due to failed collection or delivery.

In the rare event goods are out of stock when we come to pack your order we will ship all avaliable items and refund you for any items we are unable to send.

Please note Personalised Items are non-refundable, lead-times are given as an estimate mooch gifts and home will not be held responsible for any delayed items in manufacture however will keep the customer updated on progress.

 

Breakages

 

If your goods arrive in a damaged or faulty condition you must inform us of the damage within two days of delivery by telephone or e-mail to hello@moochgiftsandhome.co.uk ; we will then advise what to do next.  This does not affect your statutory rights.

 

Non-Returnable 

 

Due to the interests of hygiene face coverings, food items,  throws and plush toys cannot be returned unless they are damaged or faulty.  If you have any specific concerns/questions relating to these items, please contact us before you make your purchase.

Items in SALE or reduced items are also non-refundable unless faulty.

 

Delivery service

 

Delivery times are calculated in working days (Monday to Friday). If you order after 3 pm the next working day will be considered the first working day for delivery. In case of bank holidays and over the Christmas period, please allow one extra working day for us to process your order.

 

Most orders should be delivered to you within 4 working days however, please allow 7 days before contacting us. We will attempt to email you if we become aware of an unexpected delay. 

 

At present mooch gifts & home only sends goods within the UK mainland.  If however you have a special request please contact us and we can quote on shipping costs accordingly. Please note for international orders we will not be held responsible for any additonal local customs charges charged by your local port authorities, please check your local import regulations for the country where you reside.

We currently charge £4.95 P&P on all orders no-matter of the order value or size.

All goods are sent on a 'signed for' service.

Please Note, where goods are stated as being shipped directly from our supplier these could take longer to reach you outside our standard shipping dates, please allow 10 working days, if there is to be a longer delay we will contact you.

 

Privacy

 

We use the information collected from you to process orders, enable us to communicate with you. We do not share your personal information to others.

Card Payments

 

We use Square payment gateway to process your card or Paypal. Our payment company uses secure server transactions. Our payment company also encrypts stored transaction information, ensuring that it's not tampered with. Our payment company captures your credit card information and will always ensure that this information is processed within strict levels of security. We do not see any credit/debit card information at any time. Credit/debit card information is not kept on file by us or our credit card payment company.
