London’s historic Somerset House is the perfect place for ice skating at Christmas. People brave the rink - or get some mulled wine and roasted chestnuts at the sidelines!

Glowing lights on fir trees light up the courtyard, and children laugh and shout as they whiz down the helter-skelter and ride the merry-go-round. Christmas magic is in the air tonight.
